With which attitude do they face this problem? To clarify these and other questions was the purpose of the Family Doctor Cristina Naranjo Mu\u00f1oz, a specialist that -together with the <\/span><b>Observatory of Pain<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; has participated in the <\/span><b>XXIV Health Communication Congress <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in Santiago de Compostela.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Organized by the <\/span><b>Spanish Society of Family and Community Medicine (semFYC) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">and under the title \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The way is to communicate<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d, the congress counted with the attendance of important professionals of the Medicine and Research field of our country.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cristina Naranjo presented her talk entitled \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Knowledge and Attitude about chronic pain in students of Medicine and Nursing in their last year of university<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d. During her intervention, the specialist in Family Medicine showed the results of the study about the knowledge and attitude that these students have in relation to chronic pain through the questionnaire of <\/span><b>KnowPain-12<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and T<\/span><b>he Nurses Pain Management Attitude Survey.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Beyond these interesting data, many other topics were addressed during the congress such as: \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Communication without obstacles: a right and a need<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d, \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The beliefs of professionals and patients about low back pain<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d or \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">How to participate in social networks as a health professional<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition, a very current issue was also addressed as a workshop: \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Music and movement for health: the Saludarte Project<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d. This workshop showed how the use of music and movement produce an improvement in patients, being another way to manage pain.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To sum up, the congress was a meeting point for professionals of the health field with a common purpose: to <b>improve the communication <\/b>between professionals and patients.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How do students of Medicine and future doctors face pain?
