During this event, healthcare professionals, young researchers, and experts from both national and international fields gathered to share knowledge, experiences, and the latest developments in the field of pain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over the course of the three-day congress, the aim was to highlight the need to invest in <\/span><b>coordinated and multidisciplinary healthcare<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, from primary to specialised care, and to stress that one of the main goals is to <\/span><b>make life easier for patients in managing their pain<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-4439\" src=\"https:\/\/observatoriodeldolor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Foto-congreso-SED-Malaga-2-576x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"348\" height=\"619\" srcset=\"https:\/\/observatoriodeldolor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Foto-congreso-SED-Malaga-2-576x1024.jpg 576w, https:\/\/observatoriodeldolor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Foto-congreso-SED-Malaga-2-169x300.jpg 169w, https:\/\/observatoriodeldolor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Foto-congreso-SED-Malaga-2-768x1365.jpg 768w, https:\/\/observatoriodeldolor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Foto-congreso-SED-Malaga-2-864x1536.jpg 864w, https:\/\/observatoriodeldolor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Foto-congreso-SED-Malaga-2-1152x2048.jpg 1152w, https:\/\/observatoriodeldolor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Foto-congreso-SED-Malaga-2-562x999.jpg 562w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 348px) 100vw, 348px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Representing the <\/span><b>Pain Observatory<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, two members of the group actively participated in this scientific outreach event. <\/span><b>Professor Dr Jos\u00e9 Antonio Moral<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, physiotherapist and member of the SED\u2019s <\/span><b>Digital Technology and Pain working group<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, presented a poster titled <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cPain and Quality of Life Progression in Patients with Post-Acute COVID-19 Syndrome\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, the result of a study conducted in collaboration with <\/span><b>Hospital Puerta del Mar<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and the <\/span><b>LongCovid Andaluc\u00eda association<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Meanwhile, physiotherapist <\/span><b>Dr Marta Moreno<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> presented a poster titled <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cBiopsychosocial Factors Associated with Sleep Evolution in People with Chronic Low Back Pain\u201d<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, based on data from her recent doctoral thesis. The study identifies the relationship between various contextual factors (individual, social, and psychological) and <\/span><b>sleep quality<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, an aspect that is gaining increasing relevance in the management of chronic pain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We once again enjoyed an <\/span><b>enriching scientific event<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, both professionally and personally, in an <\/span><b>outstanding location<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.
