We are thrilled to share the outstanding achievement of our colleague from the Pain Observatory, Alejandro Salazar. He recently secured a position as Associate Professor at the University of Cádiz in the Department of Statistics and Operations Research, affiliated with the Higher School of Engineering in Puerto Real.
Alejandro participated in the Access Competition for the University Associate Professorship on November 3rd, successfully navigating a three-phase assessment process. This process included presenting his academic, teaching, and research background, proposing a teaching project, and outlining a research project. Following this rigorous process, Alejandro was awarded the position and officially assumed his new role during a public event organized by the University of Cádiz on December 13, 2023.
