American researcher Taylor Yates joins the Observatory of Pain team for three months

At the beginning of June, the American Taylor Yates, a student at the University of Tennessee (Chattanooga),  joined the Observatory of Pain team thanks to an international fellowship.

A Sports Science graduate, Taylor combines research assistant work at the University of Tennessee with her Master’s in Public Health studies specializing in Chronic Disease Prevention and Control. This combination has been what has prompted her to participate in this international stay that will complement her training and increase her knowledge in the field of chronic pain and research

During these three months stay, Taylor will work side by side with the multidisciplinary research group led by Inmaculada Failde and she will do it at the Faculty of Nursing and Physiotherapy of the University of Cádiz, a unique spot that will also allow her to enjoy everything that the city of Cádiz can offers.

From the Observatory of Pain team, we hope that this experience is as pleasant and enriching as possible and that both parts get the most out of this exchange of knowledge, realities and experiences that are so necessary to continue advancing both professionally and personally.
